January 2025: Mount pleasant / Sir james douglas / Vancouver christian / Renfrew

January 2024: brantford / jules quesnel / lions-gate montessori

Hosted workshops for 800+ students. Students in grades 4-7 built water bottle birdfeeders, designed sustainable cities, and created seed bombs to encourage native plant growth. Younger students participated in bird-themed crafts, such as decorating birdfeeders, making paper bird nests, and designing their own birds.

Children from Kindergarten to Grade 7 were taught about climate change, sustainability, recycling, and Indigenous practices. The team also led fun events such as planting seeds of their choice and designing a sustainable city. Towards the end of the workshop, the team had a Q&A session with the curious students!

February 2023: JULES QUESNEL / LIONS-GATE MONTESSORI

March 13 2020: Alderson Elementary

The Gardenbank team educated youth about sustainable Indigenous practices and the steps they can take to help protect the environment. Students were guided through a planting activity where they learned how to plant and care for their greens.
