Tanzania Garden

We partnered with Ajoykindergarten, an organization from Tanzania, Africa, who strives to provide healthy and nutritious food for children. The proceeds from our bottle drives, Krispy Kreme sales and other future fundraisers will go towards Ajoykindergarten to support their cause💚

Our collaboration with @ajoykindergarten in creating a garden in Tanzania is moving forward very well! We are ecstatic to see how we are able to contribute in the community. Thank you once again to @ajoykindergarten for letting us be a part of this!

Plant

In recent weeks, our team began a new project - to donate mini succulents and handwritten cards containing hopeful messages to nursing homes/care facilities across the Lower Mainland. This afternoon, our members dropped off cards and indoor plants for the 108 residents of Fleetwood Place Care Facility. This is just our first, of many nursing homes that we will donate to in the near future.
We encourage you to DM us a message that will brighten up someone’s day to put in a card :)

A total of 130lbs worth of food were collected and donated to

Thanks to Camille, Lauryn and Marissa, the students were able to learn a little about sustainable practices and plant their own bean sprouts for their school garden. 🌱
Look forward to more fun workshops like these in the future!

Sandwich

🔈on 🔈
Last Friday, the GardenBank team went to Oppenheimer Park in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side and handed out a total of 150 paper wrapped sandwiches to the less fortunate. The following clip captures the issue of food disparity in our local community and provides solutions on what we, as youth, can do to help. 🎥 creds: @damonlangford
