ELEMentary school visits - brantford / jules quesnel / lions-gate montessori

In January of 2024, The GardenBank team split up to host elementary workshops all across the lower mainland. Children from Kindergarten to Grade 7 were taught about climate change, sustainability, recycling, and indigenous practices. The team also led these children in fun events such as planting seeds of their choice and designing a sustainable city. Towards the end of the workshop, the team had a Q&A session with the curious students and had a great time connecting with them!

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VISITS - JULES QUESNEL / LIONS GATE MONTESSORI

During February 2023, the Gardenbank team visited local elementary schools to educate youth about sustainable Indigenous practices and the steps that they can take to help protect the environment. Students were guided through a planting activity where they learned how to plant and take care of their own greens. Through these visits, we hope to inspire the next generation of youth to create positive changes in their communities and beyond.
